Ralph Lupton came to Florida with nothing more than a pocketful of change, and from that, he built a really fine BBQ restaurant chain. I worked off and on with Ralph for years, and one of the things I did for him was this Illustration. Pen and ink art like this generally provides better reproduction quality in newspapers than photography, and trees, parked cars and any number of other unwanted things just simply go away in a drawing. I can project an illustration up from floor plans for buildings that have not been built, of I can render an existing building. |
